I've tried talking to Microsoft support, and they've reached the point of taking the nuclear option: a reinstall that involves removing all non-Microsoft programs. Nothing in the links provided have proven to be useful. Update your application to upgrade or learn more Uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with Windows 10. The following thins need your attention to continue the installation and keep your Windows settings, personal files, and apps. I used the Windows 10 Update Assistant in order to try to get the update to happen manually, and I keep getting this message: Enough of the smaller ones have been going through that I didn't notice the lack of updates, but the major updates from 1803 to 1809 and then to 1903 haven't gone through. It's since come to my attention that major Windows 10 updates have been failing. (A couple of days after that I received a follow-up message that I should uninstall the program I had using the removal tool and replace it with the new version, but at that point I'd already switched, and was ticked off enough by the first response that I wasn't going to go back.) I was using Avast Antivirus up to last year, but when it reached a point where it was refusing to update (and Avast's support refused to give any assistance because I was using the free version), I removed it using the Windows uninstaller and replaced it with Bitdefender. What was the reasoning behind this bad decision? As per my previous attachment, I STILL see the add-in listed as active in Outlook> Options > Add-Ins so I need to know why it is not present in the Outlook ribbon and how I can get a credit as this to me is not what I paid for.Not sure if this goes in this section or the Windows 10 support section, but here goes: We think these new features - along with ongoing improvements to our other many features - provide advanced protection for our customers. Recently we introduced new features such as Remote Access Shield, Password Protection, improved botnet protection, etc.

Given that email providers nowadays provide strong embedded anti-spam filters, we decided to focus our development efforts on adding value in other areas.

We strive to provide the best protection possible, and our research and comprehensive review of the feature showed that Anti-Spam wasn’t offering enough value to our customers. Please note that the Anti-spam feature was removed in the last update. Re: Avast premium security and Outlook 2019 Wait - so per this posting, Avast REMOVED the anti-spam feature/box from Outlook!?!?:
